Battersea Power Station from the Chelsea Embankment, London, c1945-c1965. Originally designed with a single chimney at each end, it is captured here with only one of its additional two chimneys built. It was built to designs by Sir Giles Scott and opened in 1937; it was shut down in the 1970s.
