Tomb of Edward II, Gloucester Cathedral, Gloucestershire, 1945. The head of King Edward II supported by two female figures, carved in alabaster, from his tomb in the north ambulatory of Gloucester Cathedral. Edward died on 21st September 1327, and his monument was erected soon afterwards.
