Sculptural detail, Eltham Palace, London, 1999. A sculptural relief representing yachting, made in 1936 by Gilbert Ledward, above the garden entrance at Eltham Palace. It shows a ship's wheel, anchor, bell, sou'wester and telescope. The sculpture dates from the conversion of the ruined royal palace into a private house.
