The refectory lobby, Cleeve Abbey, Somerset, 1999. Cleeve Abbey was founded as a Cistercian monastery in 1198 and many of the surviving buildings date from the 13th century. The lobby outside the refectory and painted chamber dates from the 15th century remodelling of the Abbey.
