Detail of the south-west corner of Audley End House, Saffron Walden, Essex, 1996, including the Jacobean porch. Audley End House stands on the site of Walden Abbey. The present house is a Jacobean mansion built in 1605-14 for the 1st Earl of Suffolk, though much reduced in size.
