The church of St John the Baptist, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, 1952. This aerial view of Cirencester, Gloucestershire, is dominated by the church of St John the Baptist. The church, which stands in the market place, boasts a unique south porch of c1500. The house in the Abbey Park behind the church, formerly the site of an Augustinian abbey, was built in 1774-6. It has subsequently been demolished.
