Kits Coty House, Aylesford, Kent, c1945-c1965. Kits Coty House near Aylesford, Kent, is the remains of a Neolithic burial monument. The surviving megalithic blocks formed a chamber within an earthen mound which has long since eroded away. The method of display shown here has long been superseded. Today monuments are viewed in their landscape context rather than being separated from it.
