The Royal Exchange, Threadneedle Street, London, c1870-c1900. The statue of the Duke of Wellington by Henry Weekes, erected in 1844, stands in front of the massive classical portico of the Royal Exchange. Flower sellers are gathered around the railings which surround the statue.
