The billiard room, Osborne House, Isle of Wight, 1880s. Osborne House on the Isle of Wight was built for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and completed in 1851. Here the billiard room is seen from the drawing room. The gentlemen of the household could play billiards after dinner while the Queen remained in the drawing room.
