Beverley Minster, East Riding of Yorkshire, 1970. Beverley Minster is a large and beautiful church dating from the mid 13th century, and owes much of its grandeur to the wealth generated by the presence of the shrine of St John of Beverley. This view looks across the nave, with the lectern in the foreground and the pulpit in the background.
