Town Hall and Central Library, Manchester, 2001. The town hall, the triangular building with the tall clock tower, was built in 1868 to designs by Alfred Waterhouse. Adjoining it is an extension by Vincent Harris, opened in 1938. The circular central library, was also designed by Harris, and completes this complex.
