Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, c1860-c1922. Built in 1874-79 in red brick and stone with an overhanging timber gallery, with the River Avon in the foreground. This theatre burnt down in 1926 and was replaced by the current building in 1932.
