Barnes Railway Bridge, Richmond Upon Thames, London, c1860-c1922. The two railway bridges at Barnes, with a boat moored in the foreground. The first bridge, built in 1846-9, has open vertically ribbed spandrels, and is now disused. The bowstring bridge in the foreground was built in 1891-5.
