Riding school, Bolsover Castle, Derbyshire, 2000. In the 17th century a Riding School was constructed at Bolsover Castle where horses were trained in the art of manége. Sir Charles Cavendish bought Bolsover Castle in 1612 and began converting it into a palace. The task was completed by his son.
