Daily Telegraph, Fleet Street, London, 1913. Fleet Street has been associated with the printing and newspaper industries since about 1500. The Daily Telegraph was founded in 1855 and occupied several sites here. Several of the public houses near Fleet Street only open in the very early hours in order to serve the print-room staff a few pints after their nightshift.
