Typesetters, The Morning Post, London, 1920. Articles are typed and then sent to typesetters, who make the plates used to print the paper. Before machines like these were invented the typesetters had to put each letter into the plate by hand; they had to especially sure to mind their Ps and Qs, which were easily confused.
