Headington Quarry, Headington Quarry, Oxford, Oxfordshire, 1899. The dancers at 'sticks down' with the musician William Kimber playing the fiddle with his dog. It was a meeting between this group and Cecil Sharp the folk musicologist at Sandfield Cottage in 1899 that heralded a folk revival in Britain.
