Grime's Graves, Neolithic Flint Mine, Norfolk, 1993. Through archaeology we can produce some images of prehistory. Here artist Peter Dunn has drawn a reconstruction of a ceremony at a flint mine in the Neolithic (4,000-2,200 BC). Ritual, ceremony and the use of sacred space appear to have been highly important to these people.
