Blackpool Tower and the front, Blackpool, Lancashire, 1894-1910. A view looking north-east from the Central Pier towards Blackpool Tower with crowds of holidaymakers on the promenade. The tower was built in 1891-1894 by Maxwell and Tuke and was modelled on the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
