Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent, 1890-1910. Canterbury Cathedral dominates the surrounding skyline. It was built in 1070 with many subsequent alterations and additions over the succeeding centuries. It is the seat of the first primate in England, the Archbishop of Canterbury.
