Southport Pier, Southport, Lancashire, 1890-1910. A view of Southport Pier from the seafront with holidaymakers and a horse-drawn vehicle. Southport was the first iron pier, is one of the longest in England. Southport attracted a large number of annual holidaymakers especially from Manchester.
