St Mary's Abbey, Reculver, Herne Bay, Kent, 1890-1910. The west facade of the church of St Mary's Abbey stand high on the cliffs at Reculver. The 7th-century church was built by St Augustine and his followers and remained here until it was pulled down in 1809.
