Cambridge University Senate House, Senate House Hill, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, 1945-1980. Senate House was built in 1722-1730 by James Gibbs (1682-1754). It was intended to form part of a larger scheme which was abandoned. Gonville and Caius College is visible behind the Senate House.
