Ralph's Tub, South Bank, Lambeth, London, c1950-1951. General view of the Dome of Discovery under construction. Built from concrete and aluminium, it was designed by Ralph Tubbs for the Festival of Britain in 1951. The dome was dismantled after the festival closed.
