River Thames, Lambeth, London, c1945-1951. A view looking southwards towards Waterloo Bridge and the South Bank. The bridge was built by Rendel, Palmer and Tritton in 1937-1942 and was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. The shot tower of the lead works is visible beyond.
