Hammersmith Bridge, Hammersmith, London, c1865-1883. The first suspension bridge at Hammersmith, built by William Tierney Clark in 1824-1827. It was replaced by Bazalgette's more decorative bridge in 1883-1887. A floating landing stage is attached to the bridge pier.
