Workers at Hampton's Munitions Works, Lambeth, London, 1914-1918. This scene shows workers in a factory making buckets. Note how the men and women are working separate areas; they are probably performing different tasks. Come along and Join the Army: Duty Calls, the poster says, which suggests that this picture was taken before conscription was introduced in early 1916.
