Double-handled beaker with dancing figures, Xindian culture, China, c2000-c1500 BC. A painted beaker with long handles from the lip to halfway down the body. The vertical panels on each side are formed by triple vertical lines and two undulating triple lines at the bottom of the vertical panels. The handles and vertical panels are each decorated with a stylised kilted dancing figure, all in black pigment.
