Yue stoneware vase with twin loops on shoulders, Western Jin dynasty, China, 3rd-4th century. A Yue stoneware vase with flat everted mouth rim and broad shoulders, the latter applied with two pairs of circular double-loop handles and decorated with two bands of incised lines. The body is covered with a yellowish green glaze down about three quarters of the surface of the exterior with occasional accidental brown spots. The brown spots indicate this vase is probably from a Zhejiang province kiln.
