Yaozhou celadon bowl with twelve pleats, Five Dynasties-early Northern Song dynasty, China, 10th century. A Yaozhou celadon circular bowl of metal influenced shape with 12 exaggerated pleats from the rim down to the flat interior base. The pale whitish body is thinly potted and covered with an even, thin, pale yellowish celadon glaze.
