Celadon tripod censer with unglazed moulded panels of boys in a garden, Yuan-early Ming dynasty, 14th century. A tripod censer with a pair of handles in the shape of lion's heads. The piece is covered with a celadon glaze except for two large rectangular-shaped panels on the exterior which are decorated with moulded designs of children at play in a garden, reserved unglazed in the biscuit and fired to an orange brown colour. The base has a broad unglazed disk.
