Yixing stoneware jar copying Jun ware, late Ming dynasty, China, c1600. A Yixing stoneware jar with globular body, everted mouth and concave base. The jar is covered with a dark blue glaze with milky-blue suffusions imitating Jun ware. The lower portion and the base are unglazed, showing the typical reddish-brown body of Yixing ware.
