Two incence stick holders in the form of immortals, late Ming dynasty, China, 1600-1644. Ceramic sculptures of two of the eight immortals, Zhong Liquan (male) and He Xianggu (female), on top of high pedestals with three circular holes. Figures of immortals were particularly common in the late Ming dynasty.
