Famille verte bowl imitating Limoges enamel, mid-late Kangxi period, Qing dynasty, China, 1683-1722. A famille verte flat-bottomed bowl with straight outsplayed sides. The base is decorated with a floral spray with black border, the exterior with five groups of C-scrolls all different. The interior is plain except in the central medallion which depicts fruits and leaves in a tub and the initials 'I.L.' all surrounded by a black border. The enamels are famille verte in tone in imitation of a Limoges enamel piece.
