Yellow cup with lotus scrolls in green enamel, Yongzheng period, Qing dynasty, China, 1723-1735. A small cup decorated on the exterior with incised lotus scrolls in green enamel on a bright imperial-yellow ground. This colour combination was reserved for the first rank of concubines by the rules regulating the Imperial Palace.
