Bronze applique with tigers and boar design, Eastern Zhou dynasty, China, 5th century BC. A circular bronze applique with four ring holes at the rim. The centre is cast with a pierced design of two tigers, one of which is devouring a boar's head. The rim is decorated with cloud patterns.
