Gold and gilt enriched bronze water dropper in form of a pumpkin with squirrel handle, late Ming dynasty, China, 1600-1644. A gold and gilt enriched bronze water dropper in the form of a pumpkin. The handle is in the form of a squirrel holding in its mouth a gilded fungus covering the air hole. There is a short gilded spout opposite the handle.
