Pair of gold buckles in the form of a rosette with boy with lotus in high relief, Southern Song or Jin dynasty, China, 13th century. A pair of small gold buckles with bronze bar fitting, shaped as an eight-sectioned foliated rosette with pierced classic scroll tracery, decorated in high relief in the centre with a boy holding a lotus spray over his shoulder.
