Lacquer plaque mounted as a screen, with various inlays, Qing dynasty, China, 1st half 18th century. A black lacquer inlaid plaque mounted as a screen. One side is decorated with an immortal on the back of a dragon, holding a flute and crossing a swirling ocean in mother of pearl and various coloured stone inlays. The reverse is decorated with the three friends of winter (bamboo, pine and prunus) in coloured stone inlays on a black lacquer ground.
