Jade sword scabbard slide with kui dragons, Western Han dynasty, China, 206 BC-8. A jade sword slide of white 'mutton fat' colour with some black suffusions. The front half shows a small kui dragon emerging from the top of the slide curving round the short end, Its head faces that of a larger kui dragon snaking down the remaining length of the slide top.
