Inscribed white jade seal with arched handle and kui dragon, Ming dynasty, China, 1565. A rectangular jade seal surmounted by an arched semicircular handle over and through which is an entwined kui dragon. The seal base has a poem in archaic script and on one side an inscription in running script dated the second month of 1565 and signed 'San Qiao'.
