Altered jade stylized bird shaped plaque, neolithic, Liangzhu culture, China, 3400-2250 BC. An altered jade plaque of stylized bird shape with two shallow rectangular indentations in the middle of the top edge. The bottom has a slightly narrower section, probably for insertion into a slot with two fine perforations towards each end.
