Small famille rose cup with peony and lillies, Qing dynasty, Yongzheng period, China, 1723-1735. A thinly potted winecup with flared sides and lipped rim decorated in Chinese taste on the exterior with flowering peonies, orchids and other plants growing beside rocks and a hovering butterfly on the reverse in famille rose enamels on a white ground. The interior is plain. There is a four character mark of Yongzheng on the base in underglaze blue and the piece is of the period.
