Dehua blanc de chine censer, Ming-Qing dynasty, China, mid 17th century. A Dehua blanc de chine censer of fine quality with a creamy glaze. The body has rounded sides rising to the lipped rim, set with two stylised dragon handles, and is supported on a broad ring foot with moulded edge. There is an impressed seal mark 'Chun Ku Chieh Chien' following ancient tradition.
