Famille noire cup, Qing dynasty, China, 1662-1722. Small famille noire cup with flaring mouth. The interior is decorated with an underglaze rouge de fer zig-zag pattern on the upper rim and flower on the bottom. The exterior is painted with blue and yellow flowers next to a blue-green rock on a black ground. The base has an inventory mark of the Duke of Saxony's collection.
