Blue and white bowl, Ming dynasty, Tianqi period, China, 1621-1627. Small blue and white bowl painted on the exterior with two sprays of foliage (probably the 'Three Friends of Winter') pendant from the rim between thin blue lines. The somewhat convex base has a six character Chenghua mark in kaishu script, but the piece is from the Tianqi period (1621-1627).
