Saucer with rock and flowers, Ming dynasty, Tianqi period, China, 1621-1627. Flat rounded hexagonal saucer painted in the centre with flowers and branches in polychrome overglaze enamels around an anhua rock. The rim is dressed with a cafe au lait glaze. The base has chatter marks and a four-character shop mark in underglaze blue and much residual sand.
