Celadon cupstand with incised floral decoration, Koryo dynasty, Korea, 1150-1200. A circular celadon cupstand with cup-like central cup holder with hole in the middle. The central cup holder is surrounded by a wide flat flange, the outer edges of which are slightly turned up. The flange is decorated with three incised floral (chrysanthenum?) sprays and edged with key-fret design. The celadon glaze is of good yellowish green colour. There are three silica chip spurmarks on the base.
