Celadon bowl with inlaid design of storks amid clouds and reverse floral decoration, Koryo dynasty, Korea, 13th century. A deep celadon bowl with slightly constricted mouth rim. There are black and white sanggam inlays in the interior of storks amid rain-like clouds around a central daisy-like flower medallion surrounded by ruyi heads. The celadon glaze in the interior is of blue-green colour. The exterior has sanggam decoration of daisy-like flowers in 4 small circular medallions amid reverse inlay decoration of floral scrolls under an inlaid key-fret border and above an inlaid petal border. The celadon glaze of the exterior is of bluish-grey colour.
