'A Well-Fed Citizen going to his Country Seat at Hornsey', 1773. An extremely fat man removes his clay pipe to tell his one-legged rider not to go too fast. On the back axle stands a footman. Hornsey, now a part of London, was still rural in the eighteenth century.
